Businesses will therefore have to alter their enterprise architectures in order to benefit from the advantages of service orientation - a flexible, extensible, and evolvable architecture. The research will investigate ways of enabling enterprise architectures for service orientation and how an enterprise wide adoption will impact on it. The research will also address issues such as SOA integration principles, data sources and transformations, access and security and integration."
